Andrew Goodwin, Co-Founder of German energy price comparison site, Verivox, has joined the Faxi team as Chairman and investor. The move comes after the sale of Verivox to ProSiebenSat.1 in 2015.
Andrew has joined the team to help facilitate international expansion for Faxi as the world looks ever closer at finding sustainable transport solutions for the billions of daily journeys which take place across the globe.
Andrew said: “I am excited to be taking on this new venture and I can see huge potential in Faxi. There is an undeniable global need for smart transportation which needs to be addressed, and the development of technology which provides commuters with the ability to share journeys in return for financial incentives is unique. This type of concept will have wide appeal as the world is moving more and more towards a collaborative economy where sharing is becoming the norm.”
With his wealth of experience across both the energy and eCommerce sectors, Andrew will bring comprehensive industry knowledge and insight to the business, strengthening its proposition as a solution which will provide cost-saving benefits to commuters worldwide.
Faxi has pioneered the concept of using a smartphone application to provide real-time proof of car sharing between commuters, and is working with UK companies to revolutionise travel-based incentives for employees, such as priority car parking spaces and reward schemes. Andrew will work with the team to help drive Faxi’s growth strategy in both the UK and global markets.
