In partnership with Northamptonshire County Council, Faxi has been working to solve the myriad parking problems at the council offices by providing an incentivised ridesharing solution.

The solution provides proof of ridesharing as employees record their journey through the smartphone app and then receive an automated parking ticket, which earns them access to the car park and to priority parking spaces.

This revolutionary technology has the capacity to change the way corporate employers handle their workplace parking issues, while at the same time ticking sustainability boxes.

Tony Lynch, Founder and CEO of Faxi, said: “We are excited to be working with Northamptonshire County Council on this groundbreaking scheme. Faxi technology addresses the ubiquitous problem of workplace parking with a tangible solution which actually works.

“We are helping organisations to create safe, private transport networks for their employees, and it’s future-proof – the world of transport is changing and this is just the beginning.”

In a recent survey at Northamptonshire County Council, 71% of employees said they felt happier with their employer after the organisation implemented Faxi as a solution to tackle the common issues experienced on today’s commute.

What’s more, ridesharing has the capacity to slash commuting costs for employees – a hugely important consideration given the ever-rising pressure of transport costs.

The world-first solution is the beginning of a culture change in workplace commuting, allowing employers to create commuter communities in preparation of a future which will see driverless vehicles on our roads.

Faxi is working in partnership with organisations across Europe to provide car park access and priority parking for employees, and is currently undergoing its next round of investment to facilitate continued international expansion.
